Meet the Staff

Nick Lueptow
General Manager
Nick is the general manager of Lawsonia, where he took his first job at age 16, dragging water hoses to thirsty fairways through the night, before irrigation was automated. Nick went on to establish and run a series of successful area restaurants, including a sports pub in Ripon and Harbor Lights restaurant in Green Lake, before returning to Lawsonia in semi-retirement as a starter. He was soon pressed into service as food and beverage manager before taking on the GM role. Well-known and well-loved throughout the community, Nick brings a customer service mindset to everything he does.

Mike Lyons
Senior Golf Course Superintendent
Mike is the golf course superintendent for Lawsonia, the regional golf course superintendent for Oliphant Golf Course Management, and a past president of the Wisconsin Golf Course Superintendents Association. Widely regarded as the finest greens whisperer in the state and a legitimate contender for best in the nation, he keeps our courses in pro-tourney shape throughout the golfing season.


Josh Carroll, PGA
PGA Head Professional
Josh is head PGA professional at Lawsonia, a Green Lake native who literally grew up on the property and has been golfing here since he was five years old. A 2015 graduate of the Ferris State University PGA Professional Golf Management program, he’s worked in a wide spectrum of golf settings from public to exclusive private, bringing the industry’s best practices home to make the Lawsonia Golf experience the very best it can be.

Rocky Pedersen
Restaurant Manager, Langford’s Pub
Rocky is the food and beverage manager for Lawsonia, overseeing everything from the course’s roaming beverage carts to its full-service restaurant, Langford’s Pub. Rocky brings deep experience that is also broad. After two decades managing restaurants from fast food to fine dining, his keys to the customer experience are friendly and fast service and offering value-sized portions made from fresh, high-quality ingredients.
